Xavier Sua'Filo. He started as a true freshman, and now he's leaving on his mission.

LOL, that was Xavier Su'a-filo and Utah really had no shot at him whether they hired Wong or not.

He ended up starting at left tackle as a true freshman all season for UCLA and is now on a mission.

Oh woe is us. However will we ever compete with the castoffs and layabouts which is all we can ever recruit.

We'll be just fine without him.

Lya is reporting that Utah commit (and a certain send-off to Snow) Maka Unufe has dropped out of school.

Utah did have a commitment from Unufe out of Provo, but his high school coach told me he has dropped out of school
One, what a waste of talent. Two, I've bashed on Lya a lot, but she's crushing it today.

Unufe is going to end up in jail or dead.

Breaking news: Kyle Whittingham just told the mtn he's really happy with his class.

Of course, Western Kentucky and Eastern Michigan are happy with their recruiting classes, too.

edit: that sounded harsh. This is playing out basically how I expected it to (minus Williams), and Utah did a great job. It's just, you'll never hear a coach express disappointment or any shred of negativity towards a recruiting class at his school, at least publicly.

Hee hee. If the Utes get Cullen they win the MWC. Like I said, 2010 is the tortois and the hare year.

Not even close according to the Scout. By the way the fact that Rivals has Unufe as a 3 star destroys their credibility.

Heard Fohoka's name on the radio, but not where he's going. Did he pick Utah?

Somebody on utefans said that if you go by average stars Utah is no. 32 and BYU is no. 58.

                          Yes Fehoko picked Utah.

I disagree, I think Utah finishes 3rd behind BYU and TCU.

oh no you don't. Only 3D can do this successfully. I know you know how to say his name.
