That's exactly what I'm saying! SU compared the sports, not me. Whit has something to stand on, a lot in fact. Whit has a fantastic resume with the kids he has recruited. My point is that SU posts an impotent reply to a football post from 3 days ago in an attempt to distract himself from the basketball fiasco but at the same time can't help but take a swipe at BYU fans on the board for thinking Boylen is struggling.

"I've been thinking of this while all the BYU fans try to say the basketball transfers are so terrible."

    Failed attempt at misdirection.

Sorry I missed his basketball point.

Utah wins an early in-state recruiting battle with the commitment of receiver Travis Still.

Rivals is the best resource for recruiting and high school sports. Find all of your favorite team's information or browse our advanced player database.

        He's the 5th verbal commit in Utah's 2011 class.

He was never in doubt. Still, Asiata and Robles are all good friends. Also Still is not really a BYU kid if you know what I mean. Not that he is a bad kid but he is a little rough around the edges which means he is a normal high schooler.

Yeah, this is closer to a Bronson Kaufusi/Joe Kruger battle than it is Josh Quezada, but it's still nice to lock up good players early.

After last year's soap opera of out-of-state kids decommitting, it's nice to see five solid in-state recruits locked up before the summer.

What exactly does this mean? It actually makes no sense at all.

I really don't want to get into individual situations, but BYU has some guys on it's roster or recently on it's roster that were far more than a "little rough around the edges."

This is a very unfair statement to the kid. He's even talked about the possibility of going on a mission. What is your point in taking a veiled shot at this kid in this way?

First of all I know the kid, second of all I would be shocked if he goes on a mission. The bottom line is that Asiata, Robles and Still all grew up together and are good friends they all wanted to play together in college its similar to Covey, Ashworth, Unga and Reynolds at BYU. Expect possibly one or two more kids from Spanish Fork to end up at Utah.

You also knew Unga and Van Noy when they were being recruited and committed/signed with BYU, too, right? Probably not necessary to know either of them to know about them. But they were "BYU kids" right?

Stop it with the shots at kids' character when they don't go to BYU. There are plenty of kids that sign to play football at BYU that are not "BYU kids."

"If you know what I mean."

                    Just stop it, already.

Interesting that both of them sat out a year before playing. PU as usual you have no effing clue what you are talking about, so I suggest you bow out gracefully.

Ah, but had BYU signed Still, who they offered, and he committed to BYU, then he would have been at BYU. He could have sat out a year, too.

Quit this bullshit about "BYU kids" when BYU doesn't land them.

Still has an offer from BYU. Apparently, someone at BYU thought he was "BYU kid" enough to offer him. Just like Van Noy and Unga.

The facts belie your anger and bitterness.

Sorry but BYU has had their share of under 6 feet slow, white receivers. Still will go down as another one of them. He will be a nice scout team player for the Utes that never has any positive impact. If he went to BYU it would have been the exact same. Someone sees something in him at both schools which is nice but someone saw something in Aiona Key (I believe it was you going off about his 5 stars on more than one occasions) as well and he sucked ass.

So, BYU offers kids that suck ass. Kids that aren't "BYU kids."

It's an interesting commentary on BYU recruiting if they offer kids that not only aren't very good but are not "BYU kids."
