Talking to someone who knows more than I do (which really is pretty much everyone). His educated thought was Sitake wanted to send a message to the team if you put in the time, work hard in the offseason, keep your nose clean, and do everything that is asked of you the coaches will have your back. Granted this hypothesis makes sense when thinking about Taysom, but not as much for Tanner.

This makes me chuckle. If the WR's really are upset about the number of balls that are thrown behind them or out of bounds, then maybe...just maybe...they ought to focus on catching the ball when it isn't thrown behind them or out of bounds. And while I'm obviously talking about the number of times that a pass has been pretty good and still dropped...maybe they ought to catch those passes that aren't perfect but are close enough to get both hands on them. Because they have to know that that just may be as good as it gets.Originally posted by TexTechCoug View Post...
Not that the receivers are great, but why would you run great routes or fight press coverage to have a guy throw a ball behind you and out of bounds?....
I sure hope that the team isn't as fractured a mess as the fans seem to be over this whole issue.

Michigan State, Mississippi St, Arizona and Cincinatti are not looking like they are going to be bowl eligible. I am pleased with how the season has turned out-but it is time to get Mangum a sizable number of reps.
