Also - that the "plan" all along was for BYU to interview other candidates as well. Many assumed that Sitake had already been contacted and interviewed. They were wrong. He is interviewing today.

Who knows - maybe Anderson is coming in to visit and interview tomorrow.

KW is scheduled for Thursday, they'll find an empty room in a casino to visit after Utah's practice that day - which they'll all be in town for the game.
I'm increasingly starting to think Mitch Harper is a moron. I was listening to the radio today and he thinks he has it all figured out and that things should go a certain way. Clearly TH isn't following the plan. He's taking his time, interviewing all potential candidates, and will then make an offer. I found it somewhat amazing that these guys injected so much meaning into Ken N's visit. The only reason anyone knew about the visit is that the Navy AD popped off so everyone caught the story. Had he not done that we probably wouldn't have known a thing until some CB'er spotted Ken at the airport or the JSB. Ken got an interview it's as simple as that and I doubt an offer was made. Ken will now go back to Navy and they will try to convince him to stay. In the meantime Kalani will get his chance. It wouldn't surprise me if Lance Anderson has already interviewed or that a date will be set for him to visit. Oh, and KWitt can mostly do things on the sly so maybe he's interviewed as well or will after the bowl game.

Nut up fans, a coach may not be named until after the LV Bowl.

Some will point to not getting a P5 Conference invite (yet) as a detractor, but I think what he's done with Independence, along with everything else he's done, should solidify his standing in the BYU Pantheon.

You are just now starting to think Mitch Harper is a moron?

          • Apparently, some of us are unfamiliar with a standard hiring process.
We all trust our own unorthodoxies.

Do you want someone to explain it to you?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Honestly I haven't paid that much attention to the guy. He's come on my radar when he started guesting on 1320. Seriously you would be a much better guest than that guy.

"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

Why are you dumping Kaufusi and Wintrich?

Wintrich left and its time to send Kaufusi out to pasture.

So did K-Lolo turn it down, or did TH opt for Sitake?
                              Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
