They threw down the field only twice. Lots of runs. The fake punt was going to happen no matter what.

        fluke IS luck!

Fluke=unlikely chance occurrence, especially a surprising piece of luck.

This is the point: Utah did not "dominate" the first quarter. they were lucky ot have a jittery BYU team make bad plays and funmble and they had a couple of good plays. But it seems fairly clear to me that the best team did not win.
        PLesa excuse the tpyos.

That has way more to do with your OL don't doing better job on the pass rush and lack of decent Utah receivers. The Utah WR's were not getting open.

Yes, that pressure really slowed him down after the first 12 minutes, didnt it. What happened to your most excellent scheme then? did he just become acclimated to the rivalry game (and thank you for admitting it)?

And BYU wasn't ready for that? What were the coaches thinking? Every time uofutah lines up for a punt I anticipate a fake. As the announcers noted, uofutah needs that kind of trickeration to win.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I don't get the BYU hate for Anae. I'm glad he's not the new BYU head coach, but he's been very very good the last two years. I will miss him.

lol, not lucky to score five TD's on five straight TO's the first five possessions of a game? How often does that happen? The rest of the game obviously demonstrated that was luck. If the rest of the game Utah continues to dominate physically or at least not get dominated by us, then you might say that start was not completely lucky.
