Someone with an ounce of self-awareness over there must have told them how dumb it was and made them change it to something slightly less dumb.

Yeah I was going to post about Isaac going into the portal, but the bigger news is do they have any QBs left? Seems they are going to put a lot of eggs in the Dampier basket hoping Beck can bring him over. Other than that it's Rising 8.0.

I think the QB room is bare, so they need to bring in at least three in the portal. But it's not just that, but they are losing players across the board. Don't know much about any of them, so they may be dead weight. Just seems like a lot to lose, and then try to incorporate a bunch of transfers coming in from the portal.

Just hope it remains fairly quite on the BYU front.

Well as reported by the release from Swoop Associates, they "are back in 2025" so nothing to worry about if you are a utah fan.

Had to google him. Why did they empty out their QB room? For this? Kid will want to play, otherwise he'll go someplace else.

Ohio State quarterback Devin Brown has entered the transfer portal after three years as a backup.

Brown announced his intention in a social media post, saying he intends to stay with the Buckeyes through the College Football Playoff.

Brown lost a close quarterback competition to Kyle McCord in 2023 and was relegated to a back seat again when the Buckeyes brought in Kansas State transfer Will Howard for 2024.

For 2025, Ohio State has a crowded quarterback room that includes Julian Sayin, who was the top-rated recruit nationally in the 2024 class.

Brown, from Gilbert, Arizona, has thrown for 325 yards and three touchdowns in the past two seasons, mostly in mop-up duty.

Sure looks to me like they decided Kyle would stay, IF he could line up an offensive staff. He did, so he stays.

Good for him, I guess. It will be hard for him to do as badly next year as this, so the odds are pretty good that in the next year or two he will do at least well enough to go out on a positive note.
