I just looked back because I was curious. As far as I can tell the only rivalry game we wore all blue was 2013; it wasn't a blowout, but a very forgettable game during the streak. We have never worn all royal with royal helmet against Utah. We did wear all white in 2010 in the game Jake Heaps almost won as a freshman.
JL may be thinking of Utah, who seems to have been going all red since we instituted the dumb both sides wear home uniforms tradition. Also the dumb both sides wear home was first started in 2011 (remember 54-10). That's reason enough to refuse to continue it.Comment
