If you didn't think we belonged, you wouldn't consider us a great option as a doormat. If you thought BYU belonged, you would be using your influence to get BYU in as the new doormat.

Funk, I find it incredibly bizarre that you would presume to make assumptions about my friendships. Last year I made the big "fat head" that is now a permanent part of the BYU student section, largely as a sign of affection for my friend Seattle Ute. Had a great opportunity to have dinner with him when he was in town on his book tour. Had a fun chat with Hot Lunch at the BYU-Utah game last year. Had a great lunch with Solon. Hostile, DrumNFeather, Dwight Schr-Ute, AppleJack, SullyUte, etc (not a comprehensive list!) are all great guys.

Your problem, amigo, is that you take everything too seriously. For heaven's sake, lighten up already.

My favorite place that I ever lived in Portland was in Sellwood. I took the Sellwood Bridge frequently. I had to trust that I wouldn't die each time.

A replacement for the Sellwood Bridge is supposed to be completed in January.

Excellent take. Feigned concern to deride an adversary is simply addition by subtraction or compensation for other insecurities. In any event, local Utah interests will prevail in maintaining the rivalry from time to time.

I've derailed this thread enough. This needs to get back to the important points.

cougjunkie would rather that BYU maintain its dominance in women's sports than win a game in football. Perhaps I've misjudged cougjunkie and his is not a misogynist. While his hopes and dreams of football victories will continue to be dashed, he can proudly celebrate each victory in women's Olympic sports. However, it must be hard for him that BYU has not made strides in women's gymnastics. Keep the dream alive.
