      Ha. Yeah, that was nuts.

Too early to tell on who will be the more accomplished college QB. I wonder if those who thought Murray would be a bust in college still think that now that he has started as a true Freshman in the SEC.

It's nice to see Nebraska finally win a close game. Will be interesting to see what happens the rest of the season. I thought Nebraska had turned the corner with the win over Minnesota only to be proved wrong.

Agree. Probably a blown call but it was reviewed and there was some pushing going on. I really want to believe in Mike Riley but there's been a good dose of bad in-game coaching decisions to go along with all the bad luck. Like you, I don't feel bad about this win at all.
It wasn't about who would be the better college qb, you said he was already better as a junior in highschool than Taysom. Taysom never threw 3 picks in a game.

Yep. I remember PBW double-down on that one. Can't backtrack now.

Kyler Murray has a PER of 107. NCAA stats only show the top 115 in the country, he doesn't make the cut.

            • Another game winner on a bad no call. He was totally down when he picked up that ball

College football has a serious officiating problem across the country. PAC 12 officials are very bad, but the problem isn't isolated to one conference. The NCAA really needs to take over officiating for the FBS.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it "fixed." Just ineptitude that exhibits itself most prominently when it coincides with the interests of their employer, as ineptitude often does.

It is cool how USC got all the calls in that Stanford game this year. Triplet was bragging to me about how his team will always win because of that.

I never said the PAC's refs are only ever inept when it benefits the conference.

Wrong on more than one account. I mentioned Kyler Murray was a more accurate passer than Taysom Hill. I later clarified that Murray had the potential to be a better college QB than Hill. Many took exception to that comparison and stated that Murray could not be considered elite like Hill since Hill had won Gatorade Player of the year. The following year Murray won that award. Murray never lost a game he started in HS while leading his team to three state titles in Texas Prep footballs highest division.

Where was the criticism last week when Murray made his first start at Texas A&M and put in a Taysom Hill like performance by throwing for 220+ yards and rushing for 150+ yards and scoring a couple of TDs (one throwing, one rushing)? While I agree Murray had a bad game this week against Auburn and threw three picks, it won't be his last game at A&M. And for the record, Taysom Hill threw three picks twice in 2013: BYU @ Houston and Idaho St @ BYU.

Uncle Ted then chimed in that Allen could hang with BYU (depending on if high school or NCAA rules were followed). The dumb posts continued for a while after that.
