Michigan kicks the shit out of its opponent for the third week in a row. This time #13 Northwestern- 38-0.

Gee- sure wish they'd have picked another team to have their coming-out party against.

Goff is great, but the rest of the team spans the range of okay to horrible. I thought (and still think) Utah's a bit over-rated, but I'm afraid Cal doesn't belong in the Top 25. I'll be pleased to be wrong.
How does it happen that someone with Palo Alto in his name, not be a Stanford fan? I've always held you in high regard, but as the biggest Stanford fan on the board (I go back to the Jim Plunkett/Randy Vataha years), I might need to re-evaluate that regard.

Oregon screwed themselves. Giving up 8,000 passing yards, countless 3rd and 9+ situations for first downs or more, running the ball three times up the guy when all you need is a couple of first downs. Oregon is a bad football team right now, I'm struggling to see a bowl game this season. They only need a QB and a defense, maybe 2 offensive linemen. Get that and they could be good.

I think BYU could beat this Utah team.

I just looked at the box score. There have been 8 turnovers in the first half, five from Cal? How is Utah not destroying this team? Gotta hand it to Utah, they are taking advantage of an under performing conference.

I have watched a lot of sports today and don't have much to show for it. Nebraska found another way to lose and US Soccer continues its funk and loses a heartbreaker to Mexico. BYU gutting out the victory was the lone brigbt spot. Now that I'm settling in to watch the rest of the Utah game, I'm hoping Cal can come back and win to end the day right.

What a sloppy game. What is this, 9 turnovers now?

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Utah dominating Cal. Showing why #5 and getting first place votes.

I hate Utah as much as anyone who loves the Lord, but who deserves first place votes this year? College football is more wide open than maybe any year since 2000 when there were 5-6 teams that could've won it.
