It was sloppy, but I'll take a win on the East coast by 25 any time.
Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Especially when missing 5 starters and starting 4 freshman including two on the OL.

Mathews had a good block on Houk's TD too.

Another positive: we had 9 players catch a pass tonight. 6 had 3 or more catches. Taysom did a good job of distributing the ball.

              Yes, that way, sickos!

Also no illegal formation penalties on the offense.

One thing that stood out to me is that GFGH seemed a lot more effortless than it did last season.

We only ran 73 plays. Kind of surprised. UConn had more plays with 79

There was no reason to keep running plays at tempo in the second half.

My favorite thing from this game was seeing Taysom keep his eyes downfield as he scrambled. Also, he made good decisions on when to slide and throwing the ball away. Last year sometimes he would lose yards running out of bounds (like one of the UCONN players did).

Had a tailgate at a park in Orem for the game. 60" tv and about 25 people. I think we'll do more of these for away games. Set the dish up on the tripod, and didn't even have to fine-tune it. Who needs the Dish Tailgater?

I sat near a Topper at the game last night. Very whiney, complaining and shaking his head every time something went wrong. Yelling at Bronco to pull players out of the game and to enforce some discipline. He didn't seem to know many names though. He was always calling players by their number. "Are you kidding me, 24?! Come on!!!"

I was upset with 24 last night a few times, too

Did you sit next to Gob Bluth? Because that's whom I envisioned from the way you told the story.
