What I could see happening is Bronco informing Holmoe that he doesn't intend on renewing his contract and giving permission to look for a replacement and Kyle resigning from Utah because of Hill and coming to BYU when Bronco's current contract is up. I still wouldn't like it, but it makes much more sense than Kyle coming this year and Bronco taking a demotion or getting fired. Bronco has also said (or heavily implied) multiple times that he wouldn't quit before his contract is up, so I don't see him leaving voluntarily this year. He has made it clear that he felt like BYU betrayed Crowton by firing him while he still had a year left on his contract.
