                  Kansas State and Missouri lost, so BYU moves up to #19, right? I don't see anyone else they jump in this poll. LSU was rated too high to fall behind BYU.
                  Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                    This is an aspect of human polls that I like in this case but is pretty dumb on the face of it. K state did exactly what they were supposed to do and they move down? We underperform and move up past them?
                    Computer polls are just better.
                    At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

                        There wasn't much of that last night. Had a hard time getting pressure and covering on D and the protection was rough. A W is a W though.

                        No SI jinx for SuperMariota though. More TDs than incompletions is a good night. I'm already starting to miss when he'll be gone next year.
