And congrats on the win. You probably all feel like wrung-out towels right now, but happy. I know the feeling. Enjoy the win, you miserable vomitous masses!

Ridley was clutch. I'm starting to see why he has been in the mix. Also nice to see Apo with a solid outing.

I was basing my comments on how it felt during the game, but I looked at the stats and you are right, not a huge difference between the two.

That was my thought also. Tulsa kept going through my mind from halftime on.

No that was Sorenson. He was flying.

If you would have asked me after the virginia game if Taysom would have been able to throw the ball as well as he did today I would never have believed it.
We did a lot of things to dominate this game. Unfortunately, the pick six, the kickoff return for a TD and the early long TD gave them confidence that they needed to stick around longer than they should have.

I swear the announcer said Fua. I tried to see on the replay but couldn't tell. Still a great play that you could call a game-saving tackle.

The announcer did say Fua, but it was Sorenson.

Houston was only in this game due to a series of big plays: kickoff return, pick six, int in end zone, and several long bombs. Take away half of those and we win big.

That goofy freshman QB was impressive. He is going to have a nice career for UH.

Their first long TD was textbook offensive PI. I don't know how refs miss a call like that.

I don't know but the ref that missed the call certainly isn't doing Condi Rice any favors.

                        • Incredibly fun game. I was exhausted because of the race this morning, but still enjoyed the game and atmosphere. UH fans were loud and it seemed to be causing problems with the OL. I sat in a sea or red (coworker/season ticket holder gave me her tickets) and the fans couldn't have been nicer. One guy came back from the concessions with an ice cream bowl he bought for my youngest son. Very cool!

Hill is a freakin stud. Before the last BYU scoring drive I looked over at my oldest son and he had tears in his eyes. He hates it when BYU is losing. I asked him if he thought Hill was more like Beck or Heaps. He said he thought more like Beck and sure enough Hill never quit and marched down the field and won the game.

I didn't see any CSers at the game but did see at least 15 people from my ward. BYU represented well with probably 1:3 or 1:4 ratio of fans. Reliant is a gorgeous stadium.

                          • What a game. Closer than it should have been, but on the plus side I can now collect social security.

Not to take anything away from Houston, though, they're a team with heart. Their QB is legit.
I think, perhaps, the only person who hates BYU fans more than ute fans hate BYU fans, is Bronco Mendenhall.

Tulsa came to mind, but also San Jose State from last year. Almost like last season didn't happen.

                              • Can someone explain what teams are doing to shut down BYU's offense in the third quarter? First half of the last two games BYU looks unstoppable, and then coming out of halftime they look like they couldn't score 7 points against Rice.
