Barely coming down in the parking lot.

NWS just announced a flash flood warning for Utah County. Warning about debris flow near the burn scars by Alpine.

This has to be a bigger problem for Texas than BYU. The soggy, wet, slippery field will slow down Texas who has much better speed. I would also think BYU will ride out this storm more comfortably than Texas.
it should have been a bigger problem for virginia too

lightning just struck close to our house east of the creamery. i don't know what their standard for determining lightning strikes within the five mile radius is but it's not very good.

Virginia didn't have a clear speed advantage. Virginia also had the "comforts of home" like BYU has this time.

I'm in Davis County. That mess is starting to hit near the south part of the county. The lightning is impressive and the thunder is already roaring.

Flash flood warning for Alpine. Just starting to rain in SLC but doesn't seem to be the same intensity as reported for UT co.

KSL vortex shows a bunch of rain south of the stadium....will see continued rain at the stadium but most rain/lightning will be west of the stadium. Rainfall through first half according to Eubank.

Still lightning strikes in the area. Eubank unsure who determines the distances, etc.
