Can't really learn much from a game with New Mexico State.
Why would any team agree to have its football games broadcast on a network that nobody can watch?

Can we just play two first halves against them?

Anae says Yeck will start at LT, Aletto at center, Vaitai at rg and Stringham at RT.

That is the majority if the lineup most effective in the UVA game. It wouldn't shock me to see Mathews or Kearsley at the other guard.

I can watch it. In fact, the replay is on tonight.

            A better one...

Can't learn any except that Texas is fast (compared to New Mexico St) and had a lot of offense. The question is if Texas can be this fast at 4600+ ft.

Goes without saying that our cornerbacks are going to get a bigger test this week.

Really worried about our o-line. Yikes.

I'm really surprised by the line on this game. Just a TD. OU at 55 seems awfully high.

                    It opened at +3.5

Anae appeared to challenge Kearsley in his post practice comments.

It opened at two book at +3.5 and quickly went to +7/+7.5. Most of the others opened at +6/+7 that I have seen.

I think a big part of that is the way Texas looked in the first half against NMSU who almost shut them out for a half.

I am growing more optimistic with this game. I am hopeful the changes to the line open a few more holes and protect Taysom a bit better. I think that UVA might have a better DL. Eli harold is certainly better than anyone they have. I think the defense will be the defense we come to expect. I am really surprised by the OU at 55 though. That seems high by 20 points. Seems like easy money. But I thought BYU at -3 last week was too. And it was until that stupid 3rd down pass.

Wow, who had it that low? The lowest opening number I saw was 6.0.

The Wynn opened at +3.5 and within 23 minutes had moved 2 points.
