      As much as I'd like to see the Utes lose, I also like to see the Aggies eat shit. The more heartbreaking the better.

        Not sure if it applies to this situation, but if the offense subs players, the defense is allowed a certain number of seconds before the snap to sub in players to respond. If the offense doesn't sub, then the defense doesn't get any guaranteed time to sub. The rule is intended to prevent offenses from exploiting "unfair" personnel mismatches.

        Edit: And of course someone already covered this in the hour (or so) since I started writing the post.
