In the Vandy game they say a guy on the football team is "studying to be a neurosurgeon."

Oh brother. That's like saying my kid in Junior High is studying to be a pharmacist.

After thinking about it I think OSU and USC win. BYU too.

BYU is probably their best chance for a win among that group. I think if they beat us, they will scrap together a win from somewhere among those eight, but if they don't, I don't believe they will pick up two. If they lose, that's two straight seasons where they aren't bowl eligible, and they enter a two-year hiatus on playing BYU on the losing side. That hurts your credibility come recruiting time.

Which tells you a lot about how big that game will be for Utah. (And it's not as though BYU won't be up for that game, either.)

Holy crud. This Ole Miss Vandy game is crazy.

Holy shiz this Vandy game has been nuts. They go ahead with a Collie like prayer answered on 4th and 18 and then score a TD to a guy wide open by himself. Two plays later Jeff Scott rushes 80 yards to the house to give Ole Miss the lead again.

And ballgame. Star receiver Matthews drops the first down and it is picked. Rough.

Crazy game. I kind of like Vandy. But it looks like the blindside's high school coach is turning around Ole Miss.

One last thing about the Utah USU game. It send like Kyle always has some ace up his sleeve in regards to a special team weakness he sees in film. He apparently saw some weakness in USU's kickoff return coverage and did the onside's kick. Same thing against BYU when they blocked the field goal in 2010.

I'm glad UConn lost. That team has never deserved to be in a BCS conference, nor go to a BCS game.

I've said all along that Utah making a bowl with this year's schedule would be a huge challenge. After last night's game, I just don't see it happening. The Utes have to beat BYU and OSU to have a realistic shot at a bowl.
