I guess I don't get all the Wilcox love. It would be fantastic to see him as HC at Washington, as having a defensive minded HC is clearly the best move in today's football. Look at the top 25, basically every coach is a defense first coach, just the direction football is heading.

there is no wilcox love at SC. It doesnt seem like anyone is overly excited about any of the people Sark is dragging along with him to Heritage.

There are around 5 other guys here that watch sports in any capacity. One of them used to play baseball for BYU and is also a UW grad alum. He is a legit sports fan. 3 of them are Utes who follow the team from a very casual distance (one of them was the one that told me that UW was after Whit). The last guy is a heavy metal dude who only cares about the Pittsburgh Steelers and no other team or sport. he wears Steeler gear a few days a week, When the Steelers debuted that horrible bumble bee throwback, he went out and bought one and wears it to work often. He has Steeler screen savers, a Steeler license plate frame, a Steelers tattoo, and his dog is named Steeler (which is kind of a cool name, actually). I know this about his dog because in the summer he brings his dog to work with him. He also doesnt wear shoes around the office.

Isn't that what everyone was expecting after the Florida DA's comments yesterday? He was pretty much laying the foundation with his comments.

DA said blood alcohol level not that high and the accuser had semen from more than one male in her. Several people in the room that witnessed it and they all said it was consenual. Also no drugs in the accusers system.

Basically a bunch of dudes ran a train on her (sounds like only 2, Winston and one other guy who she knew and was ok having sex with). She wasn't drugged or drunk and she didn't tell them to stop. After the fact she probably had some regrets and said she was raped. Whether she was or wasn't is up for debate. The way the DA is presenting this it seems the people that witnessed could have also been the one's participating. Jameis jumped in after he saw her having sex with the other guy. She did not give Jameis permission to jump in.

So Jameis is a sick bastard whether they pursue charges or not.

Tough situation. The bottom line is he didn't feel like they would be able to get a conviction.

Anyone else watching this press conference? People are laughing and joking and almost celebrating this. The DA is being very careful saying that Winston is not innocent they just don't have enough evidence to pursue the case. He said a sexual event did occur.

Guaranteed we see a civil suit and he settles out of court.
