I take it to mean they are going after Allen HS's kicker. He's from Texas, and he's already better than Matt Prater (of course, from Ohio) and would go straight pro if not for the three years of college rule.

The clip of him drilling the qb, who threw an interception that it looks like talky-talky's teammate took for a pick 6, and the qb writhing in pain on the turf as everyone runs by made me chuckle. He looks like an angry Polynesian and by damn those are my favorite kind!

This morning and I am paraphrasing, he basically said he really likes Bronco because he says what he thinks and doesn't care what someone else thinks. His take was it is great to hear what a coach really thinks and not have to listen to coach speak.

Well, I'm pretty sure Allen could beat BYU, you know, since they are a Texas school, so that's probably accurate.

Allen vs. BYU would be better than that State Champion Bingham vs. Euless Trinity match-up some years back. Of course, Trinity had Bingham at a disadvantage given Texas HS's play by NCAA rules...

One advantage for Trinity was the fact that games in Texas are played under NCAA rules, which allow for cut blocks that the Bingham players normally don't have to face.

I don't mind him pissing off the Cougar Club by making them not feel important as I generally dislike fans, but I never think it is smart for a coach to hype a player. Saying that I watched his comments and he said that Luapaho looks like an All Pro OT in the same way any kid that is 6'7" and 310 lbs looks like an All Pro OT. He did say the kid was "light on his feet," but I think we mo-mos are doing much better with kids "light on their feet" than we used to. He shouldn't have to face any shock aversion therapy.

I actually think Bronco anticipated the woslw (women of Srbrnca like whining) about the OL so his hyping Luapaho was his red meat to the fanbase to keep them off his back. You will notice I have Luapaho slotted as Wesley's backup at RT for this year, he will likely start there next year and then replace Mathews on the blind side as a JR - unless our next qb of prominence is a lefty.

If you get a chance watch the interview. I might be rightfully accused of always being a Bronco lover and praiser, but I really think he came across as credible. He may be wrong, but I think he really believes what he said about Luapaho. I think you can tell when Bronco is speaking after he has done one of his, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt preparations before he talks.

I am with you on the fans. Some of the fans are blatant idiots. Well not them, but some of their opinions indicate they have the ability express the opinions like a blatant idiot would. Of course that was the reason. That Trinity/Bingham game was brutal. Trinity was so much better and so much more talented than Bingham was. As much as High School in Utah has improved over the past 10 years, there is a lot of reasons why the universities in the state of Utah are recruiting so much in other states.

Now the QB everyone is talking about, 5'11 170 pound Kyler Murray is a 4 star qb who has yet to commit.

Can those guys play at the next level? Most likely in some capacity. However what would Allen do to make up for the rest of the roster?

How about a DL that goes: (if you want we can compare the size of BYUs O-line, but I think you get the point)

Kyler Murray threw for 3669 and ran for 1200 against high school teams.

Taysom Hill threw for 3000 yards and ran for 1300 against college teams.

I can see why most think Murray is better.
