Not happy to hear that. He and Talo had really put their hearts into TBS and Cougar sports, especially football.Originally posted by CJF View PostThe years are not treating Gurney well.
Honestly, I think they really could have had something if the trajectory had continued that Bronco started with the first few years.

I was expecting some defections but I thought they would go the other direction. This has been a stellar day.

Come on, man-- BYU's my school and I'm barely interested enough to maintain a faint presence in the signing day thread. How do you keep up this level of intensity?Originally posted by mpfunk View PostHow in the hell could BYU be the smart decision?

The only thing BYU can claim is more people who share the same religion as him. No doubt, Stanford was the smart decision."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

Let me break it down for you then: In the middle of a recruiting thread, you decide it is a good time to inform us that your kids would be willing to attend Stanford. Imagine that! And your stepson **might** accept a Stanford offer, but he is more partial to the Ivies. And to top it off, you feel a need to explain to all of us why Stanford and the Ivies are good schools.Originally posted by Topper View PostOne word potshots are sometimes difficult to discern.

Take heart Topper. He said it elicited only a few.... I want you to know I wasn't one of them. I was interested in what you had to say. It's a big group here with varied opinions. Although a few of them like to hurt my feelings, it is a fun group anyway.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostLet me break it down for you then: In the middle of a recruiting thread, you decide it is a good time to inform us that your kids would be willing to attend Stanford. It does shine a spotlight on Utah's recruiting woes. The plain fact is that pretty much every school in the Pac-12 with the exception of Washington St and Oregon St has more to offer recruits.Originally posted by kccougar View PostYour exhaustive analysis shines a spotlight on Utah's recruiting woes, huh?As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression
