If Lark threw like this against air I'd be ecstatic.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostDamn I really don't want to play the role of Riley defender. I promise I wanted to commit to Heaps from the start and think Lark got the shaft from the coaches.
But NMSU is NMSU. I'm just sayin'...

No, its nothing more than Bronco being a stubborn son of a bitch. I have no idea what his reasons are but he was not going to be dissuaded from his decision.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostCan anyone give me a reason now why Lark didn't start against Utah and Boise? I'm being serious. Did he suck THAT bad in practice?

This is my struggle right now. I want to believe our coaches aren't stubborn jackasses. But that is what all the public evidence points to right now. I have no inside info so I would love to be persuaded otherwise.Originally posted by USU Coug View PostNo, its nothing more than Bronco being a stubborn son of a bitch. and I don't think your point that NMSU is NMSU is all that valid. The reasons for not playing Lark was that he was horrible in practice (fans assumed this because of Bronco's resolute answers about starting an unhealthy Riley) and that they couldn't execute the offense with him (Bronco actually state this as the reason for going to Taysom).Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostDamn I really don't want to play the role of Riley defender. This game has shown that not only is he not horrible, but he's at least as good, if not better as a healthy Riley was against similar competition. I'd say Lark's performance today tears both reasons to shreds.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Please compare Riley's stats from Idaho, a comparably bad team that we played AT HOME, to Lark's stats from this game ON THE ROAD. Please allow that Lark had never started and Riley had many times. Please also feel free to throw all of that out and go with your gut instinct after what you've just seen. Be sure to compare the accuracy of screen passes. Also, passes when Cody Hoffman is wide open behind the defense.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostDamn I really don't want to play the role of Riley defender. Or just compare turnovers. Might be hard since Lark doesn't have any yet (he did get lucky with two, but Riley has had equal or greater luck).
Doman and Bronco are shitheads.

As an entitled BYU fan, I do have to say that after all is said and done this season the Poinsettia Bowl seems fitting- even a privilege- at this point."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"
