  • Going to Las Cruces on a Lark: The Official BYU vs. NMSU thread

Is this the game we actually get to see what James Lark can do? Or will Riley grit out another start? If he does not start will Riley still play on special teams?
How soon will we know how the fireside went? Does Bronco prefer red or green chile?

Is anyone else going to this game? I am making the 3 hour trip down from the Roz. I almost bought tickets for my family and my friend coming down from Albuquerque, but decided to hold off to see whether or not game day tickets would be cheaper. My friend was given 8 tickets free by his hotel, which just shows how hotly anticipated this game is in Las Cruces.

I won't be watching as I'm hitting Lincoln this afternoon. If I knew Lark were starting I might watch it live. I hope if Riley starts that they had the ball to Jamaal 40 times.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

We were going to make the trip, but last week's SJSU disaster put a sour taste in my mouth. And after spending last weekend in Albuquerque, I don't want to drive 7 hours with little kids this weekend. Football comes 5th anyways, right?

I wouldn't worry about it, BYU fans will still outnumber NMSU fans

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Question: if ESPN is supposedly our BFF, why are they only showing this game on ESPN3? Why aren't they letting BYUtv simulcast it?

It was my impression that it's a good thing when ESPN picks up a game, regardless of which espn it's on.

ESPN didn't pick it up, they relegated to internet-only broadcast (ESPN3).

Hopefully, Coach's rumor will turn out to be true.

In other news NMSU has fans.

I'm sad you didn't invite me. This one could be a game for the ages. The next battle of Bronco versus the third rate aggies we should pack their rickety high school stadium with CUFers.

ah I see. It's all one and the same for me since I watch on xbox live.

odds that this thing will be on any other websites (not ESPN3)?

can't you watch it on ESPN3? It's not blacked out anywhere. All you have to do is sign up and you should get it.
