For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I thought that $8b alliance was between the B1G, Fox/FS1, CBS, NBC and U$C/UCLA.Originally posted by myboynoah View Post"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

LOL... The B1G won the Rose bowl, raped and pillaged the Pac-12, and took the bowl, U$C/UCLA, and other spoils back with them.Originally posted by Applejack View Post
Can you imagine what byu fans would be like had Utah actually won the Rose bowl? (shudder)"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

I also think it is likely that Utah will sheepishly come to the B12, if invited. In fact, I would like it much better if Cal than Utah was left without a lifeboat and had to go play in the MWC. Practically no one at Cal wanted BYU in the Pac 12. So let them rot in conference hell while trying to figure out how to pay off their $500m athletic debt.Originally posted by Bo Diddley View PostIt seems likely Utah is coming to the B12, and I'm good with that. California Regents Hear Out Pac-12 on Whether to Block U.C.L.A.’s Move to Big Ten
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/09/22/s...e=articleShare
I’ve been saying that a good lawyer could drive a truck through that “delegation” by the regents to UCLA’s chancellor. Now the regents’ general counsel agrees with me—it’s up the regents. They can nix the move to the B1G.
“U.C.L.A. has portrayed its proposed move as a leap toward a financial life raft for an athletic department that had been swimming in red ink thanks to a floundering football program, an apparel deal turned sour and the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The Los Angeles Times reported in January that U.C.L.A.’s athletic department debt had ballooned to $102.8 million over the last three years.”
And the same idiots who got UCLA into this financial fix are deciding it’s best to go to the B1G. They’re incompetent.
The Pac 12 commissioner also notes that UCLA is making a hypocritical sham of its commitment to fight climate change. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Yeah it's gross seeing the LA schools throw in with a bunch of flyover states that went for Trump.Originally posted by USUC View Post

This is the most California thing ever."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf
