Whatever smart hole. I don't know dates, I just know facts.

Piney it still says TBA. A night game would be nice, that would allow for a couple hours of sleep upon arrival.

So I purchased my tix, but now I await dress instructions. Unless otherwise directed, I may go with my polka dot KOM jersey.

Todays depth chart lists Riley Nelson as starting QB, Hill as back up. Jamaal Williams listed as starting RB.

Are you surprised? Bronco's been saying Riley's the starter since half-time of the last game!
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Not really surprised, but I keep hearing these rumors that Riley is done for the year. I don't buy those rumors. Its weird that Bronco has no problem listing a 17 year old kid as a starter but still has this weird thing with Riley.

By going this route, though, Bronco

                  (A) shows respect to Riley, which seems important to him, and, to at least some extent, keeps him relevant to and involved with the team, and

                  (B) still gives Hill the practice reps and game time without having nearly as much pressure and media distraction as he would if he were to be named the starter.

I wonder if Bronco just has a really bad taste in his mouth from the Heaps situation and is trying to avoid it by replacing the senior with the freshman without replacing the senior with the freshman.

Riley Nelson still limited, but is ahead of where he was last Monday according to Bronco...no, isn't ready to announce his retirement

I have wondered whether this whole thing is a result of Heaps. Local talk radio has accused Bronco of playing favorites over the best player. I would hate that to be true.

Bronco said RB Adam Hine (quad) is "possible for this week, would probably be the way to list it today."

offensive coordinator Brandon Doman said Riley did more in practice this Monday than he did last Monday, said he's "healing up" slowly

Bronco: "Riley is still beat up. Taysom took all the reps today, and it will be similar to last week."

Bronco: "We will go as long as we can see how it progresses during the week" before deciding on QB starter

Bronco on Riley Nelson: "He wants to play desperately in this game."

Bronco: "I am just following a very similar plan to last week, other than the chances are probably even more likely that he will play."

Riley will not be playing this week either with Hill getting most of the #1 reps.
