I agree. I guess I'm just entertaining the idea that Bronco has some sort of rational reasoning for trying to get Riley in there other than because he is playing favorites.

      Since when was Bronco rational?

All you have to do is listen to Bronco talking about Riley and you'll quickly realize he is not even close to working on a totally rational level with the QB situation. Or he'd be able to talk about it without using such emotional words and tone of voice.

Fans are allowed to be emotional about the situation, Bronco is getting paid a million dollars to put the players out there who give the program the best chance to win. With Riley I think his ability to do that has been compromised to some degree.

              LOL.

Hsaru pretending to be calmly rational about the situation. Love it.

Looks like some bettors are thinking Riley will get the start. At some places the line is down to 6.5.

If I knew Riley was starting, I don't think he is healthy yet, I would take some of that action.

                    Hill will start.

Easy money is on the Over/Under line. I would definitely take the under here as I am confident Utah State doesn't score over 17 points. The question is more about BYU's Offense and what it can or cannot do.

A friend of mine who does bet on college games said that is what he is doing.

This is compounded by the loss of a consistent Alisa. So it will come down to the passing game. I guess the true argument then comes down to who is the better passer? I don't like what I've seen from Riley. But Taysom seemed to put a little bit too much air under his throws and didn't see the defensive back who picked him off.

Still, I don't like the idea of putting in an unhealthy shitty Riley for two and a half quarters and have him destroy any chance of winning this game. USU will be up for this game.
If it comes down to the passing game, it is even more important that Riley be healthy. Because if the front 7 is that great and running isn't going to happen, then they are going to cover up most of the short passes too. And BYU is going to need to throw it deep once or twice if for no other reason than to pose a threat that USU has to think about.

I don't like BYU's chances if they are relying on a hurt Nelson to run and complete passes over 10-20 yards in distance.

Alema Harrington thinks they will alternate both Riley and Taysom. Ben Criddle thinks Riley starts. I don't like either scenario

Alternating QBs is the stupidest thing you can do.

I don't want to see Riley play ever again in a BYU uniform.
