Why are you convinced of this? What does Bronco stand to gain from this type of behavior? From a cost/benefit viewpoint I don't see what he has to gain? He basically broadcasted his man crush on Riley in a way that leaves little doubt as to whether or not he plays favorites. Riling up fans he dislikes (pun intended) like that seems like a costly cheap thrill, especially if there are potential recruits watching/reading.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

I might have been joking a bit. With that said Bronco has had things to say about fans before. I also think he's tired of the question. It would be much easier to say, "Taysom played great but is still limited in his knowledge of the offense. A healthy Riley gives us a chance to run the more complex offensive scheme that will be needed in the upcoming games".

Calling Riley the starter is definitely a PR move, but it's not addressed to the fans.

            • Other than breakaway speed I don't see much difference between Taysom and a healthy Riley as runners.
              lol
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Same, but I'm sick of calling out ridiculous Nelson comments.

Go back and watch healthy Riley. Good scrambler and gets yards on blown up and designed run plays. Both are good running quarterbacks and resemble one another when they do it.

There were many in there, but that one was the funniest so I went with it.

                      Hardly a ridiculous observation.

Yeah, and other than the billion dollar difference in our back accounts, I'm basically as rich as Bill Gates. Breakaway speed is a big deal. To take that away and then say they're otherwise equal (which I would also dispute) is silly.

It kind of sucks you can't have a decent football conversation on this board these days. I provide examples illustrating my observations only to get laughed at and called ridiculous.

I like his speed. Personally I'm thrilled Taysom is a good runner as it really hleps when you're offensive line sucks. Also breakaway speed really isn't a factor for a running QB. My general point was more of an indictment of UH's slow DB's. A better defensive backfield most likely would have run him down.

ill go back and look and see if I can not see the differences in riles healthy and what taysom has shown. But off the top, hill is shiftier, has more power, is quicker, and is faster. That pretty much covers the differences I see in the two.

I've gotta side with Gracie here, plus besides the breakaway speed difference, he's unbelievably quicker.
