Yes. I'd rather he have less power and more brains. Hill did not take any hard hits last night that I saw. Small sample size and bad defense, I know.Originally posted by Shaka View PostIt illustrates power.
With that said I agree with you and Douger. Taking on linebackers isn't the best thing for a QB.Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I think Taysom has the arm to be a pocket guy. I agree with DDD's thoughts on the matter of running. It's nice he can get himself out of trouble with his feet but I'd rather see him mostly staying in the pocket with occasional bootlegs or designed runs to keep the defense honest. If Taysom is constantly running there's a good chance he ends up missing games.Originally posted by nikuman View PostYes. I'd rather he have less power and more brains. I'm not sure that's a positive. One of the things I like about Hill is that he has the ability to slip past a lot of tacklers for a few extra yards (not to mention less contact). Riley seems to like to take tacklers head on.Originally posted by Shaka View PostI'll give you speed and looser hips. With that said Riley is plenty shifty, and has stood linebackers up on several occasions. Go back and watch last year's USU game.
Edit: looks like I'm a little slow to make this comment.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Agreed. But other than that, I don't see much difference between the two as runners.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostBut off the top, hill is shiftier, has more power, is quicker, and is faster. That pretty much covers the differences I see in the two.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
