So clearly Williams is going to get the bulk of the carries while Alissa is out, but who is going to get the rest? It seems like Lasike is potentially the most complementary because of his power.

Lasike is a baller! He was awesome on special teams, logging that shoestring tackle on the 13 yardline to start the game, then just ran over Hawaii's backfield after Williams got reigned in.

Based on Bronco's comments per Wrubell's twitter feed I think we're going to see more of Lasike:

Bronco: "Paul Lasike has been a nightmare for our own defense since fall camp...they think twice before tackling the guy..."

Bronco says his defenders think twice about tackling Lasike in practice "if they want to stay healthy for the season."

Bronco: "I've seen them jump out of his way many times. We keep score on every run in practice, and I don't think we've ever stopped him."

Bronco on Lasike's rugby background: "To him, it’s a luxury to have a helmet and shoulder pads on; he’s used to doing it without any."

Bronco: "I really like the way (Lasike) runs, but I like who he is as a person, as well. He's humble, he's grateful, he's appreciative..."

He was running garbage time against a bad team, but man did he seem like a punishing runner. And I didn't know he was a soph -- for some reason I thought he was a jr. Another two years two learn plus Wiliams and Hine? Yeah, that group is looking pretty solid.

I have a really hard time taking anything from this game. I guess I should be happy with a 47-0 win, and I am, but I still have no idea if we have solved any issues anywhere. Doman did the right thing by running against a terrible run defense, but I still have no idea if he can adjust on the fly or if he can mix things up at all. We certainly won't be able to replicate that kind of attack in October. The line did okay, but I still have no idea if they're any better than they were last week. Hill played really well, but I have no idea if he's any better than Riley or what he'll do in the next month. Our defense is really good, but I still have no idea if they can stop a decent passing attack. Williams was explosive, but I have a feeling he's going to get a lot of tackles for losses against a decent front seven. Lasike looked like a beast but I have no idea if he'll be able to run over anyone else. There's a reason these guys aren't starting.
In the end, I'm just a little "meh" about the whole game. Hawaii is just really really bad.

What were you hoping to ideally get from a one game sample? Most if not all of the issues you raise aren't going to be answered by any one game.

PROVO, Utah -- Hawaii team officials said two Warriors players have been released from the hospital and are on the team charter flight Friday night after X-rays on their necks were normal.

The defensive tackles were taken to the hospital after being injured in apparent helmet-to-helmet collisions on consecutive series in the first quarter of a 47-0 loss to Brigham Young on Friday night.
