That team is the Island of the Misfit Toys -- kind of like the CUF of BYU messageboards.Originally posted by Surfah View PostSo Ziggy didn't run the 40. No surprise there. Sounds like the Raiders worked him out hard though from tweets. Man, it kills me to say this but I hope Ziggy doesn't go to the Raiders.

I've seen some 2014 mock drafts (meaningless, but still) that have Van Noy going in the first round, usually right around #20.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I don't want him there at all. Oakland has the least talent of any roster right now and he'd get gobbled up in the mess there.Originally posted by Surfah View PostSo Ziggy didn't run the 40. Plus, I love Denver so it would be a lot easier to cheer for him elsewhere. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

They have multiple people timing those runs...Originally posted by Surfah View PostSupposedly Ogletree ran a 4.61 40 today. That has to be hand timed with an itchy finger. Kaveinga ran a 4.55. Joe Sampson with a 4.5.

I would be surprised, but Andy Reid did work him out.

I really hope this doesn't happen and it fortunately does seem quite unlikely. The last thing he needs are the out-of-control expectations that would come with being drafted so high. I'd love to see him land between 10 and 15: high enough to be quite an honor, low enough that people will have some patience with him.Originally posted by UVACoug View PostZiggy @ No. 1?

What's the money difference between going 15 and 5? I think its a pretty big number. The risks are well-documented and teams know they will have to be patient. I think the benefits of going higher out-weigh the risk over out-sized expectations.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostI'm on board with this sentiment.

I would be surprised, but Andy Reid did work him out.Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.
