Hans was saying that a few OL including Braden Hansen told him that Utah was mimicking the snap count. Braden Hansen even asked the officials to call it but the ref told him they couldn't hear it over the crowd noise so if they couldn't hear it they weren't going to penalize Utah for it. It wasn't safeties calling out adjustments or the DL shifting. It was defensive linemen barking out a count under the noise of the crowd.
That said, BYU should have went to a silent count or moved Riley under center. Bronco and Doman should have better prepared them. And I don't blame Utah either. I would have done it and did do it in HS. It's an age old trick that rarely gets whistled."Nobody listens to Turtle."-TurtlesigpicComment
