What is with all of this despair and gloom?

Wynn is "retired." Blechen is suspended. White is possibly injured and might not even play. QB platoon with Hays and freshman Wilson. BYU defense is very good.

If Bronco cant pull out a win under these circumstances, he is a moran.

Better try something else. Those of us who are LDS Ute fans are accustomed to making sports fan choices that are displeasing to deity.

Lots of sandbagging going on on both sides it seems.

If Bronco's D can't shut them down under those circumstances and Riley can't lead the offense to enough points to beat that sad offense, it will be an embarrassment. A loss will be squarely on the shoulders of Bronco or Riley. They have to take care of this bad ute team.

Utes are sandbagging for the aforementioned reasons. They know BYU's LBs are some of the best ever to play for the Y, that the overall D is pretty good, and that Riley is capable enough to throw short passes and run with the ball, causing some problems. They also know that their QB situation is a mess, their star RB might not play and if he does he may be hobbled, the OC is new and hasn't been overly impressive, and they are filled with some doubt coming off an embarrassing loss. If BYU were in that situation, BYU fans would feel the same way. I get it.

Why would BYU fans be sandbagging under these current circumstances?? This game is set up as ideally as could be. The only explanation for BYU sandbagging is that BYU fans are now intimidated by the U (as evidenced in part by that ridiculous banner at the top of the screen). Pathetic. Where is goatnapper'96? He needs to post some words of chastisement for all of these yellow-bellied BYU fans. What a joke.

screw all Utah fans and the Ute football program. The Utes are in a crappy situation right now and I am happy to see all of the bad stuff going on this week. I hope more bad things happen between now and kickoff. The more, the better. As I said before, if Bronco doesnt have his guys foaming at the mouth to play this game, he is moran.

BTW, don't think we haven't noticed the absence of an avatar contest this season. I think that shows a real lack of confidence on your part.

Thanks. It figures that YOhio would announce the contest in such a lame manner.

                        Anyway, here's some guidance.

Amen. Since Junkie ain't here to say it I will. We're going to beat Utah. And it won't be pretty.

Interesting possibilities for Jordan Wynn, who's already graduated. He and Whittingham are talking about a coaching role.

I guess I wonder if Whitt is ever going to branch out with regards to guys he doesn't know, if that ends up happening.
I'm starting to wonder if maybe football isn't the most important thing to Whit.

I'm with you. Someone here said that if BYU can avoid giving up points to Utah's defense, they will win. I think that's where I'm at right now. I don't see Utah scoring more than about 14 points unless Riley makes some big mistakes.
