Whit isn't commenting on injuries that are not season ending, which means he has something to hide. How long has he had this policy of only commenting on season-ending injuries? Basically since Saturday morning.

John White is messed up but he will play.

Not sure if this is consistent with prevailing Ute attitudes about the PAC 12 schedule trumping playing BYU. Shouldn't they be saving JW for league play?

I get that it's easy to discount Jon Hays. He is what he is. But last year once he became a little more comfortable as a starter he had 9 TD's and 1 INT in his last 6 games, and the team finished 5-1.

Utah's coaching staff has said that Hays made significant improvement in the off season. You'll never get a 300 yard, 4 TD game out of him, but you can get a 225 yard 2 TD performance out of him.

I really enjoyed listenng to that. All about football and the upcoming game. My confidence in winning this game just moved p 10%.

I really liked what I seen out of Hays in the 2 drives he was put in after Wynn got hurt, then he went back to old game manager Hays where they throw once in a while and run 75% of the time. Way too inaccurate in the 4th quarter.

Still would love to see Wilson as the starter, though.
