Well, if you're going to eject someone, it should probably be for more than striking. They strike each other all game long.

Pretty safe to assume it was something out of the ordinary. I don't think refs eject players for routine contact.

I think striking is "striking an opponent on the head or neck with a forearm, elbow, or hands." Under the NFL rules it seems to be treated differently than "striking opponent with fist." To be ejected you have to do it flagrantly.

Maybe someone else knows more about this in the NCAA context.

I just can't see how you are going to judge the severity of what happened without being able to see it. So if anyone is expecting league officials to do more than what the field officials did, they shouldn't be.

Another fact pointing to a punch is that neither Kruger not whit protested when he was ejected. He definitely acted a guilty.

My point being, if you're going to eject a guy for decking someone, you'd think it would deserve further punishment.

I am not confident about this game at all, but I think our D holds Utah offense to less than 14 points. The question is whether BYU's offense gives up points to Utah's defense. If BYU can avoid turnovers that lead directly to points, they will win a close one.

Come now, you don't want to play Utah without Kruger, do you?

I think he should be kicked off the team. And take that Star dude with him. He is a dirty player.

So shortly after posting an egregiously non-format compliant prediction post you decide to post this. Well, certainly it is non a big deal if one person doesn't follow the rules, but you are Utah's elder statesman. Now I will probably have to deal with 10-15 prediction posts that are non-compliant. Take a look at BYU's elder statesmen. You don't see PAC or creekster leading people astray. In fact, the usual try to help the prediction contest run smoothly. Shame on you.

He's going to break Nelson in half.

Maybe it was just bad luck on his part, but I swear, every time they circled him or pointed him out during that game, he never so much as crossed the line of scrimmage.

the double team in front of him for the whole game probably didn't help.
