Leach era set to begin at Washington State

Like:
Much depends on an offensive line that must do a better job of protecting quarterbacks from injury.
The Cougars are thin on the defensive front seven, in part because of Leach’s tough discipline style.
Three potential starters have been kicked off the team since Leach took over. Linebacker C.J. Mizell, perhaps the program’s best athlete, was kicked off after an alleged altercation at a fraternity party earlier this year. Linebacker Sekope Kaufusi was kicked off after he was arrested in a marijuana possession case. Defensive tackle Anthony Laurenzi was kicked off after the alleged theft of a pair of headphones.
That left the team with more inexperience at linebacker than expected, and a thin depth chart on the defensive line.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Purported IQ of 160? Not surprising, when you consider his logical reasoning skills: "If he dies, he dies."Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostIvan Drago graduated from Wazzu with a degree in chemistry?

Also, I seem to remember him being a US Olympic biathlete (not that kind of bi athlete, sickos!).

I like the fact that instead of being a terrifying DE, he marched in the Wazzu band. I hope he played the flute.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostIvan Drago graduated from Wazzu with a degree in chemistry?

Although I think BYU will win, this game still makes me a little nervous. Leach is a loose cannon and this game is a wild card. BYU has started slow the last few years. We barely moved the ball on Ole Miss, who was 90th in total defense last year, and never really got it going against average or better teams. Texas? Byu had a good quarter but was anemic otherwise (granted Texas has a good defense). UCF? Not a lot of fireworks there. I have no idea what Doman has in store for this season but until I see it, I won't believe this will be a highly productive offense. I just hope the defense can keep Wazzu in check.

But seriously. I refuse to listen to hype anymore. I've been burned too many times.
I do have a lot of confidence in our defense though. We're returning so many starters. How many games will our defense win for us this year?

No Riley.
Doubt not."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"
