    Bronco is comfy

    http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/blogsby...think.html.csp

For instance, what does Mendenhall think of his team's potential this year?

"I like the talent and I like the depth. Their execution and chemistry and consistency will really determine how they play. But I like where we are. And I feel comfortable, at least at this point, that we will be in good shape."
Mendenhall was asked about the number of wins he expects this team to attain this year.
    His response:
"I really measure it as to how they can reach their potential. There have been a lot of wins, 10 or 11, really over the past five seasons. But I know exactly the teams that I have coached well, that got close to their potential, and the ones that underachieved in relation to my standards.
And I try to hold on to that more than the external measures. And I have high expectations for this team. If it is 10 or 11 wins, that is one thing. But if it is in relation to what we can accomplish [that's different]. Again, I have a pretty clear idea of what I think that is, and I don't gauge that by the number of wins."

Tyrone is going to do his thing, regardless of what the haters say.

My job is simply to post links to what Tyrone is doing.

Finally found a thread for the game on a WSU message board. They seem to want to spend more time talking about the USC Oregon game ().

Anyhow, you need to have a Scout.com account to read the thread. Not surprisingly, it is someone from cougarboard that went over there to start the thread and didn't get through the first post without mentioning Utah.

I still kind of get freaked out that Harline is going to drop the ball.

                    • O/U is 61. I don't think they'll hit that. Seems like BYU has a penchant for starting the season slow offensively, especially against BCS-level competition.

Not to mention, BYU's strength is their front 7, and Wazzou is installing a new offense. They'll have their fair share of kinks as well.

That, and I would assume that Bronco/Doman will be trying to hold onto the ball, extend drives, and not score too quickly.
