Reading most of the comments from last nights game really shows how ignorant most of you are regarding football. It really is hilarious! I love the comments about the lack of pass rush. What??? You idiots simply don't understand what Bronco wanted to do. We we would rush 2, 3, and sometimes 4 guys coming from different angles. Tuel had no idea where to throw the ball as our coverage was sound. When he tried to force it we made them pay. The defense completely dictated how Wazzu played. When they did run on that rare occasion, they got maybe a yard.

Our defense was physical, and fundamentally sound. When Tuel wanted to go deep, he didn't have time to throw it and his OL had to hold our tackle our guys to give him the time. 6 freaking points on a Mike Leach Offense!!! Give our D some credit. Just because we made Wazzu look bad doesn't mean they are bad or will be bad.

Our offense needs to improve and that will come. I think Riley was a little too amped up to start the game but settled down. I didn't like his jump balls but I anticipate him getting better as Doman gets more comfortable with what works with this team. Foote was nails and I wished he would have received more carries. He is a baller. I am not too worried about the O-Line... yet. I think the jury is still out. Once thing to remember is that Wazzu's defense is a 3-4 as well that is based on stopping the run first. I thought their D-Line was pretty good. Their LBs and safeties were terrible.

I am thinking this will be a great year and I will enjoy the banter this week between our two little brothers Utah State and Utah as they battle it out in Logan after beating the crap out of two FCS schools.

You could very well be right, but I disagree that we only rushed two or three the whole game. We were defnitely light the second half. I'll rewatch the game this evening and see if I agree with you. It was late, and I was entertaining guests, so I may have been short-sighted.

I'm stoked about the win. I hope it translates to a butt-whoopin in two weeks.

At the Cougar Club pre-game, a representative from the POIN was introduced. He was wearing a red blazer. He apologized, took it off, and then put on a white "Every Day is Game Day" t shirt. That drew lots of applause.

He also said the POIN's biggest concern isnt whether BYU will be bowl eligible, but that BYU will go to the BCS this season and leave the POIN hanging. That also drew lots of applause.

The A/C was broken in the room so it was really hot in there. The representative from the POIN left the meeting immediately after he spoke.
