Forgive my ignorance in this regard, but my friend's son was just invited to Junior Day down at BYU. Is this a big deal, or do a ton of kids end up there?
what I am is what I am and I does what I does.

Any news coming out of junior day besides Peoples committing?

Several other offers, but no more commits yet.

Is this normal or are offers usually accepted fairly quickly? I read BYU has 8 schollies left to dish out.

I read that as well, which makes no sense to me with 29 graduating seniors. I know we get a bunch of guys off a mission and this group coming aboard is where we should start to see the fruits of Bronco's recruiting, but 8 just sounds absurdly low to me.

So do we have any shot at this Davis kid? Taysom is going to need a sidekick.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

The Peoples kid that committed says he's "50% LDS." lol.

according to Brayden Kearsley, Chasen Anderson from Logan HS was offered by BYU and wants to commit, but needs to clear it through his dad
Anderson's father is Gary Anderson, head coach at USU and former Ute defensive coordinator
Seeing this kid as a Cougar would be awesome.

                    I doubt that happens.

Yeah, somehow in my mind I see the conversation as going something like this:

Kearsley: Dude, you got an offer? You should commit! Right now! I'm coming to BYU. Let's play together! It'll be awesome!

Anderson: Yeah...um...sure....I mean, BYU is a cool place...and it would be cool playing with you...but...um...I've got to check with my dad first. Yeah...I've got to talk to my parents...

Kearsley to reporter: Anderson is so stoked to have an offer from BYU. He wants to commit right now, he's just waiting to talk to his Dad about it first.

Burnt Offering: BYU commit Brayden Kearsley torches letter from the Utes

The sad part is that he had to take this picture through use of a mirror. I guess he couldn’t find a friend to hold the camera for him.

It took him less than a week to decide he's 100% yewt.

Did he decommit, or are you talking about his tweet about "seeing what happens" at his other camps?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.
