It's nice to come out on top of one of these things.
The hat ceremony has not been nice to us over the years.
How many hat ceremonies has BYU gone into with a chance?
I think the hat ceremony hasn't been nice because of how BYU recruits.
I do wonder if the fact that recruiting has gone poorly with the beloved assistants running the show that Cougarboard whines were unfairly fired, perhaps there might be more pick ups later in the game going forward?
If BYU can land the kid from GA and the JC OL it will be a better year than it looked a month ago.
With those, and the rest in the bag including Ragin and Shipley, I will call it at least an average year.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I was hopeful with the first time around for Kaveinga. That kid teased us last year who ended up going to Stanford. I didn't think he was coming.
We usually aren't much of a player late in the game, and that seems to be different this year, so I am encouraged by that.
I hope we can pull in Ragin and Shipley as well, but Shipley sure seems wishy washy. That kid from Georgia would just be a bonus. I'm glad that kid who's committed to TCU is thinking about us as well. I'm happy to see the focus on both sides of the line.
I feel more optimistic than in previous years right now.

IIRC many thought BYU had a real legitimate shot with Kaveinga. I think we all knew that the kid who went to Stanford, name currently forgotten, was not coming to BYU. I do think the older brother of the Stanford kid was going to walk on at BYU. But I think he is reputed to be a flake at this point in his life, and perhaps with good reason.
The one area that BYU continues to get annhilahated is with good Poly DL that are not the offspring of BYU coaches. That one gnaws at me in a real Clackamas Coug sorta way.

I'm very happy to get a kid with tattoos and an attitude that doesn't fit the regular mold.
He also looks like he could win some situp competitions! I liked our OL better when it was fat. Cougarboard didn't but I did.

Chambers chose BYU at his hat ceremony (or did he?), so I completely understand what you are saying.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Didn't this dude commit a while ago? Maybe I'll look up his house and camp out paparazzi-style for Bronco.

If you ever come to town, let me know. I'd drive to the other side of Vegas to eat at Rubios with most CUFfers.

When I lived there a couple of years ago we would go to the one on Green Valley Parkway and Pebble maybe? Maybe it was Wigwam. Regardless, its one of my wife's favorites. I would rather go to Roberto's.
