    Probably no longer reasonable to assume that Bronco told this kid about his mission stats.

                  We've been hard on AC. He's softening up quite a bit. He's more raw than RF and likely significantly undersexed (comparatively speaking) as well. Makes for a nasty combo.

                        I have zero outrage about BYU's willingness to inject religion into their recruiting process. In fact, I encourage it. Doing so will give a glass ceiling to what BYU can achieve in recruiting. It does not work with very many high end kids who have options.

                          Many schools divide recruiting by location, not position. It allows for a coach to develop relationship with the HS coaches in an area over time. I don't know how Crowton distributed his assistants during his tenure. But assuming that he wasn't the same position, therefore not his recruiter would be foolhardy.

                            Wasn't there some rumor out there that Bronco as DC under Crowton had opted out of recruiting?

                                I think it's safe to assume Bronco wasn't recruiting in Idaho.
