I suspect those are the ones.

I like Banbury Cross. They have them at work and I find it very hard to pass on the double chocolate with peanuts.

This little petition gained some notoriety across the state and national attention on Mike & Mike the past few days. Last I heard he had over 45,000 signatures.

Governor Kasich responded and called him personally. In his twitter account he responded with a simple. "Not going to happen, but join us for the game", his family has now been invited to watch the game with Governor Kasich at his Inaugural gala.

Ohio St. has hired former Nebraska OC Tim Beck to replace Herman.

Is this a good hire PBW? Thoughts

Tim Beck as OC at Ohio State? Wow! But good for coach Beck. Was hoping Beck would get the HC job at Kansas just so Nebraska would have somebody different as OC. But once Bo Pelini was fired, I knew there would be a change. Glad to see Beck move on to a great program.

Nebraska had problems on offense and at the QB position. The big question is whether Taylor Martinez and Tommy Armstrong are mediocre QBs that Beck developed into servicable QBs or whether they were good HS QBs that Beck could only develop incrementally. Another question is why can't Nebraska recruit a better QB than Martinez or Armstrong? Ohio St. under Urban shouldn't have those recruiting issues at QB that Nebraska had under Pelini.

As for the Buckeyes, what they achieved in 2014 with backup QBs Barrett and Jones is exceptional. I thought Ohio St.'s playoff dreams were over when Braxton Miller got hurt. How much of that was due to coaching and Herman and how much was due to Barrett and Jones being great players? My guess is much of that success is due to Herman and will not occur under Beck. It's not a slam on Beck, but more of a compliment to Herman. During Nebraska's 2013 season when Martinez got injured, Nebraska had Beck and Armstrong. I wish they had Herman and Barrett. Time will tell whether Tim Beck is a good OC hire at Ohio St. The continued development of Barrett and Jones and the success of the Buckeye offense will be the answer. I don't think Beck is a bad hire, but he has some big shoes to fill.

Another thing worth mentioning about Tim Beck joining the Buckeye's staff is the recruiment of QB Joe Burrow (Athens, OH) who was one of the first recruits to verbal in the Buckeye's current class. Although Urban thinks highly of Burrow, Beck felt otherwise after looking at him and decided not to offer. Apparently, that offended the Burrow family. Joe's father used to coach at Nebraska and his older brother Jamie was a good MLB for the Huskers. Now Beck will be Joe's position coach at Ohio St. Nebraska thinks they have a shot at flipping Joe Burrow. If Urban is smart, and he is, he's already played the "blame Pelini" card. Both Nebraska and Ohio St. have young but experienced QB's returning and both have new OCs. But Nebraska has a new HC and might decide to go in a different direction with it's offense and is in real need of talent at QB. Burrow may have a very good chance at playing and starting early if he flips to Nebraska.

I'm not an Urban Meyer hater, but I'm hoping that he has another sad lonely pizza dinner after his ass is handed to him by the Ducks tonight. Not predicting that is what will happen, just expressing my hopes.

We'll see what happens. Cardale still has 2 years left after this year, and Barrett has 3 years left after this year. If he is good I hope we keep him. You never know when you need a 3rd string QB to run your team.

I have my concerns with this hire but Urban is the Coach whisperer.. It has been announced that he will be Co-OC. I guess we'll see what that means.

I assume Ed Warriner will be calling the plays?

The question I have about Ohio State is whether JT Barrett will be willing to stick around and sit on the bench waiting for Jones to get injured or if he'll lose patience and decide to transfer.

I am unsure, but that is what I am thinking. We'll see as things play out over the spring and Urban makes a decision on this.

JT stated he is not going anywhere. Braxton on the other hand I think will leave. He has no reason to stay. He graduates and leaving will allow him to work on getting a Masters at a new school.

                              My prediction. he leaves..

Crazy to think about what Cardale Jones just accomplished in his first three games as a starting QB.

Besides all his physical gifts, which are many, he seems to never get rattled. So impressive.
