Nothing personal dabrock, just part of my superstitious nature I never enjoy betting on Oregon regardless of what I feel the outcome will be. I do feel that fair warning I should tell you that I am planning on crossing off every superstition I have for this game so the supernatural power could very well be on Oregon's side. I even sent a lucky bottle of scotch to landpoke as his scotch drinking has been very favorable to the Ducks in the past. JL or others with Austin connections I need a local donut shop in Austin to pick up the game day dozen on the drive up to Dallas. TIA.


I am a little upset that I didn't get as good of tickets this time as I did for the Auburn championship game so the chance of being spotted on TV by the CS crew is not as good.

Its all good. I understand. Enjoy the game from Dallas. That is an awesome stadium. Was there in a nice suite when BYU defeated Oklahoma.. Was in the suite with a bunch of Texas fans who went crazy with us.. One memorable game my wife and I will never forget. Hopefully it will be one you will likely want to soon forget!

there is a place here in Utah that is called Beyond Glaze. in fact, pretty much every place sells gourmet donuts these days. they are good but not worth standing in a line.

I am all for a bet but HFN has chosen to ignore any attempt to make a bet.

Two other possible options (However, my first option is to make him purchase that poster of Mark Schultz and make him put it up in his bathroom, bedroom, garage, with the written words below saying "I LOVE WRESTLING"!):

• Loser must purchase other teams hat/shirt (Could be from consignment store, DI etc.) prior to next season to be worn all of next College Football Season and to Football games and Friday at work (Send winner a photo each week to be posted in SE).
• Loser will create a sign with verbiage from winner to be shown as their home team returns home from loss (Paying homage to HFN)

There is a Voodoo in Eugene too. The superstition holds that it can't be a chain and donuts purchased on game day morning. So that makes Voodoo no go for this adventure, I'm a fan of the chocolate banana fritter though.

Tasty's doughnuts in Kaysville(?) is probably the best doughnut shop in the state. Much better than Banbury Cross. Their seasonal pumpkin spice doughnut is the single best doughnut I have consumed. Non of it is gourmet.

Our posts had both doughnuts and the word gourmet in them. But I'll be more thoughtful with quoting in the future.

Banbury is too doughie for me. I don't get it. Their glaze had a nice citrus hint to it, which i like, but then they ruin it with under cooked bread.
