bleh. That was sure a letdown. I really needed a final play, despite having cheered for Oregon.

I really hope Hawk made the trip. During the game, I thought of that kid, and how a year ago I believe he was in an Ethiopian orphanage in the grimmest of circumstances, and how a year later he's enjoying the Rose Bowl experience (as much as any toddler can) with a superb family. That may be the 2011 CUF Story of the Year. I'm glad the Ducks were able to put a nice finishing touch on things.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostBeing an incredible Dad.

Great work by the Ducks!
Hope Stanford gets it done also."We should remember that one man is much the same as another, and that he is best who is trained in the severest school."

Everyone in Oregon is a Ducks fan today. Everyone today seems to be wearing some sort of Ducks gear or flying a flag. Strange because this is Beaver territory for the most part.Originally posted by SteelBlue View PostAlso, a big congrats to the myriad Oregon fans in far NorCal who have no ties to the state of Oregon or to the University, and who were wearing Cal gear 3 years ago. I look forwared to you making that O with your hands all week!
