That game is the same day that my 5th grade flag football championship is, I am being optimistic about our team as we have 10 of 12 kids coming back from a team that lost in the semi-finals last year. So I think it is just TV for me.
However if something befalls my squad Jr, Captain and myself will be there.
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

Any sufficiently complicated platform contains an ad hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of a functional programming language.

"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."
"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."
"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."
Except he had some serious issues during games - and is simply wasn't the O-Line's fault. When he got pulled in that Utah State game, it was the right decision. The offense was all doing exactly what it was designed to do - play action was holding linebackers, underneath man was creating space for receivers running intermediate routes, the hot receivers were open when USU blitzed - Jake simply couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a pass. And USU wasn't when the problem started. It was just when it all came to a head. Jake completely sucked. I'm guessing it was all about taking a hit - that he was scared in the pocket. I guess that could explain the complete collapse of his play. I know he could make the passes - he has an arm like a gun. But a player who can't do it in a game against moderate talent, is of no use to anyone.
I was sad to see him go, but I understand his decision. He wanted two years as a starter to help guarantee him a shot at the NFL. Bronco couldn't guarantee him a redshirt last year - no matter what - to get Nelson out of the program and give him his two years. If he transferred the redshirt is guaranteed and he picked a school where he thought he had a good shot at being the heir apparent. And it looks like he's ready to make the best of it. I really wish he could've made it work here in Provo, but as it stands - good luck to Jake...
