No, we can handle the ribbing. In some ways it is kind of therapeutic. But could you take a cue from some of your fellow Ute fans and mix in something witty or interesting from time to time? TIA.Originally posted by NorthwestUteFan View PostOh please. Spare me the high and mighty act. Your 24 hours of civility is up and you cougar fans can handle a tiny bit of ribbing.
It is good-natured ribbing and a modicum of retribution for the widespread merciless devastation strewn about following the TCU game last year. Both sides generate propaganda, but the winner of the war writes the history."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Interesting. I entered this discussion stating I was greatly irritated by a fan of my team effectively calling somebody a 'retard', and that I didn't want somebody to claim that all of our fans are the same way, because most of us are likewise disturbed by the Special Olympics 'joke'. There simply isn't a way to spin that into something witty.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostNo, we can handle the ribbing. In some ways it is kind of therapeutic. Then bitf showed me his truck's scrote. That's some witty, high class humor right there, Dude.
I will hereby refrain from contributing to your therapy following that Cecil B. DeMille-style win. Carry on.

I was pointing out you had brass balls, YOU OF ALL PEOPLE, to suggest that BYU fans shouldn't paint with a broad brush.
You are so hell bent on proving how much better you are than us that you lose site of the fact that you are doing exactly the same thing. Of course that's just the arrogant BYU fan in me talking. Nonsense. We know the hoops rivalry will continue no matter what, and that Coach Krysko will soon restore Utah to a level of dominance over the Cougs that will exceed the Majerus-era beatdowns.Originally posted by Blueintheface View Post:chatterbox:

I'm glad you brought this up.

Wow. It seems to me to be precisely the other way around. Maybe things would be better off if byu had won the game and y'all could go back to the pre-Holy War rhetoric (all Ute fans are a bunch of mindless/heartless/soulless heathens, the school is terrible and nothing good could ever come from it, the QB is horrific, etc).Originally posted by Blueintheface View Post

I apologize for overreacting, but at least recognize that this appears to be a discussion between pots and kettles.
