Oh no please gloat. Gloat hard. Everything you could say is probably true. Even your meanest comment is probably true, and I embrace truth! Have at it. Please don't hold back.Dyslexics are teople poo...

Seriously. There is no gloat more painful than what I just witnessed. I don't know if BYU as an institution can field a team that can score ever again. We just got rick rolled by fuckin.... Keith Partridge and shit... It's pretty mind blowing. Somehow doesn't make me like the Utes any more or admire them at all. Isn't that curious? My mind isn't able to humanize those roaches.
I guess the long and short of it is this shit is too far fetched to be anything other than humorous at this point.
"heaps sucks and is x y and z" yeah I guess so.
"your whole staff planned this shit storm on a dare" that's likely
"you wouldn't win the WAC this year" nope- I should say not.
I can't think of anything that really has any sting."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

Have to admit I don't really want to gloat. What can I possibly say?
And I don't mean here, I am still fairly new here, I haven't talked enough smack on here to earn good gloating rights with the regulars.
But I mean with Cougar friends and family. It was just ugly. What could I possibly say that would be of any use?
I'm even deciding if I want to the "Utes Winner" tag for the little avatar bet.
Don't get me wrong. I'm enjoying the win, but unlike other years I don't feel the need to enjoy my Cougar friend's loss.

I made it a point to chat up visiting Utes on the way to the stadium. They showed up in numbers. Everyone was very nice. One person expressed surprised that I would welcome his group to the game.
I'm all about changing the paradigm, folks.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Thank you, SC Fan! Keep changing the paradigm. Life is too short to have such a visceral hatred for a university's GUESTS, even if they are 'rivals'. Civility goes a long way. Meeting new people is one of the great experiences of college football.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostI made it a point to chat up visiting Utes on the way to the stadium. I'm all about changing the paradigm, folks.
I remember chatting with UCLA fans in the rose bowl tailgating lots, wearing my missionary clothes, during the the UCLA-byu game in ~91-92. They teased me a bit about being a missionary and joked about BYU, but they were kind enough to offer me food and thank me for coming (I didn't even tell them I was cheering for the Bruins).
I have long since forgiven the Cougar fan who passed out paper bags at the game in 1989 (final score was 70 billion to 14 or something like that), telling us to put them over our heads to cover our shame. Glad to see some of my fist rolling brethren are helping to change the paradigm. Despite the outcome of the game last night, the Cougars are a big time program and when they right the ship and get over their problems.
Basically, just act like ya been there before. That is what it is all about.
