Both Utah fans and BYU fans are very jealous of Boise St. That is why there are so many people in both fanbases that hate Boise St.

Their fans don't discuss them in terms of "(being) undoubtedly the best non-AQ". They talk about them in terms of being a CFB powerhouse. And unfairly or not, Boise hasn't played for a national title. They've only played in two BCS bowls.

Yeah, but we don't have to acknowledge that 1980 loss to BSU. It wasn't "real history."

Agreeed. Even though Utah and Boise both have two BCS wins it is impossible to argue that Utah has had more recent success compared to Boise. Boise has been good every year even when they aren't in the BCS, they haven't had the 6-7 win seasons like Utah has with huge blowouts from TCU/Boise/etc.

Some of the 2004 Utah fan babies don't understand that there are such things as good seasons that don't involve BCS wins and that a 7 win year and an 10-11 win are very different things.
