  • FIU is up 17-7 on UCF. FIU isn't a bad little team, but I thought UCF would win.

      • Stanford is my second favorite team this year, I love watching Andrew Luck play. He's the best pro prospect since Peyton Manning.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

        • A team I never thought I would cheer for is Oklahoma. Before the Sooners join the SEC next year, I am pulling for them to win the NC and end the streak.

          • I missed this while I was wallowing in self pity Saturday night:

            UNLV - 40
            Hawaii - 20

Hawaii is a tale of two teams: Home Hawaii and Away Hawaii.

I know it's a couple of weeks before the Utah-Washington game but Keith Price is a very good passing QB. I think he was helped a bit by a young Nebraska secondary missing it's best CB, but Price played well and ran the Husky offense effeciently. Got a decent set of receivers to throw to but they did have a few drops. Chris Polk is also a very good RB, every bit as good as he showed last year. Overall, the Huskies offense seems very balanced and the Ute defense will be challenged to slow it down.
