The question is (and you can't tell from shitty KJZZ so maybe JIC can tell us) did they have more receivers running deep routes and Wynn was not confident enough to throw it down field? You clearly watched a different game than I did. Utah ran quite a bit of play action in this game. They tried to get Wynn out of the pocket quite a few times and he would dump it off to the tight ends. Maybe by design Norm wanted to go one read and get rid of it. Whitt did tell David Locke they wanted them to the line and set by 18 seconds. Maybe the game plan was a short passing game and dinking and dunking down the field.
