I'm not quite sure what that means, but it is probably true. When I was in optometry school (the genesis of internet) the only information I had about byu sports was Arnett's newsletter, the cougarnet email list, and 3 or 4 other guys who would show up at the stake center on Saturdays to watch the game with me. Maybe we will also, start using the the Royal we

Is the conference representation unique to SLC, or do schools like Vanderbilt, and Iowa State pimp their SEC and B12 affiliations?

FTR, I will admit I'm completely envious of the Utes being in a conference I've long coveted BYU to join. On the bright side, I do get to watch them lose the majority of games in HD.
Duh. That is all meant to rub in the faces of BYU fans. BYU fans would probably do the same thing if the situations were reversed.

        • last year my wife bought me a subscription to HB's email. I didnt renew and he keeps spamming me with crazy offers of literally years of more emails for the price of one single subscription. His most recent giveaway was an extra month of emails for every win the football and basketball team amassed this school year. I have "unsubscribed" a few times but nothing works. He won't go away. I guess in that sense, he is a lot like Art Vandelay.

                    • I am probably the Lone Ranger in wanting to see Utah beat every PAC10 school. If they beat us like a drum and then dwell in the sewer that is the PAC10 bottom feeders, what does that say about the attractiveness of BYU to big time football.

Is having a big time fan base enough without the product?

I really don't think they would.

Utah's always been a neener neener fanbase.

I would never put a stick repping a conference on my car or buy a shirt that didn't have my team on it.

                        How embarrassing that they do.

You are always such an independent thinker so unafraid to speak even if what you say will be unpopular with the mainstream. I admire you so much for that.

None of the schools you mention are comparable because they have always been joined. In none of those cases have two historical rivals been split apart with one being picked and the other being left out. If Washington were picked for the SEC and Oregon/OSU/Wazzu weren't there would be plenty of SEC logos and symbols.

Showing your school colors show says you are a fan, showing you were picked for something while your rival wasn't is turning the screw. Much like you saw many here start talking about how much better the B12 was than the P12 :eyeroll: , when it looked like BYU was going to be invited there. Had BYU been picked and Utah left out the conference logos would just be in blue instead of red.

So that's why you quit posting for a while, you didn't need us while you had that subscription.

Shut your whore mouth. Washington to the SEC makes no sense anyways.
